    I am tempted to, but like before, I can not have no heat when the kids are here with me. However, I too will do what I can to stave off the cold, when I am by myself.

    I'd like to, but my babies are too young (10 months and 2 years) and the winters too cold for them. Maybe when they hit kindergarten age I can join in.

    I did turn off the AC and have been opening the windows at night. I will do that as long as I can.

    I am a wimp! That's why I'm not going to participate. Smile And I was a wimp last year too.

    I am a wimp too, but am much better about gauging the real temperature in this challenge, rather than just freaking out because the thermostat says 65 degrees for 5 minutes while I get dressed in the morning. Removes some temptation to flip the heat on for a bit in the morning just to be more comfortable. Or just helps to realize that the thermostat sometimes says 63 or 65 when it feels much warmer.

    I have been moving the thermostat down the past few years as my wee little ones age. At this point, they spend all winter in their underwear - I am the one who freezes my butt off. At some point we kept the house more comfortable for them, but those days are over. They like it cold.

    Wish I could join BUT I had to turn my heat on already. It snowed here Friday but thank fully it was melted by early evening on Saturday.

    I'm a big wimp too--but if it stops me for even a couple days (or hours), we'll count it as savings.

    Good luck to all! I live in the tropics, where itīs hot and humid most of the year... we donīt have a/c, but I couldnīt live without my fan!

    We're still hanging in there without heat, but man, the mornings have been cold!
