Luther says hello.
I'm making slow progress on my emergency fund. It's up to $8,304 now but i won't have 6 months worth of expenses saved until May 2010. My goal is to have more than 6 months, but 6 months would make me feel better.
I did my taxes last weekend and was thrilled to see I'll be getting a refund for the first time in like a decade. I'll get $600 back from IRS and owed about $17 to the state.
I haven't had the heart to look at my mutual fund statement; i know it's down even more.

I'm sorry to hear about all your frustrations in dealing with the various medical support staff.

I totally agree with you on the utter incompetence of most customer service people. I used to be one of them, but I like to think I took pride in my job.

I had a frustrating experience on the phone today trying to make an appointment to get my car serviced. The woman was not only rude, she was incompetent. Makes me want to take my business elsewhere, but I do like the mechanics.
