No heat for us yet. Although, I may make a fire in the fireplace in the next few days.

I'll be curious who caves first between me and Koppur! We're somewhat in the same area although I suspect I may be further south. My geographic location is considered southeastern MA. I'm not asking Koppur to give up location - just clarifying mine a bit. I already can see from Koppur's blog that she lives in the Boston area, so eastern MA as well.

Still holding out here, though the temps are again dipping... Today one of my school kids came off the bus with her winter jacket on - arg!

Joan.of.the.Arch stands resolute against the cold in Missouri, in the city with the arch.

I am totally bummed. The ONLY reason I turned my heat on in the first place is because the predicted low was 36 degrees (in the city) and I live in the burbs near a lake and there was no guarantee the temp wouldn't go below 32 (freezing) and I wasn't about to risk bursting pipes for an online contest. ;-)

Even worse, haven't needed the heat since and on top of that, the high temp on Monday was 80-ish! Ugghhh!!!

Denver had a cold spell last weekend with a high of 35.
Turned on the heat last Saturday October 11th.
But it's been sunny and nicer all week, so it's been off since then
